In parallel with certification, the FIM is creating a series of events called "FIM Historic Events", initially in Europe and then on all continents where the classic motorcycle scene is active.
Quality
and authenticity
These events, organized on historic circuits or during major international events, will showcase FIM-certified machines, selected by invitation to ensure authenticity and quality. They may include on-track demonstrations or static exhibitions.
Themes and Organization
In every FIM Historic Event a theme can be requested by the organizer and set into place according to existing FIM special régulations which specifies the organization scheme. Several FIM Historic Events have already been organized to test the validity of the concept:
